About Us

Ms. Kilpatrick received a Bachelor's Degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law.

After graduating law school, Ms. Kilpatrick returned to her hometown of Mesquite and started a law practice.  She continued to practice law for several years before closing her law practice to be a stay-at-home mom.

With three children of her own, Ms. Kilpatrick saw a real need in the community for high quality, affordable Christian education.  After much soul-searching and prayer, Ms. Kilpatrick stepped out on faith and opened Appleseed Academy in July 2008.    She is so blessed and honored to have been a part of so many children's lives over the past 15 years, and she continues to seek God's will for the school in the future.
